July 2026: Fjord city, football summer and major concerts

July in Oslo is often less dense with traditional festivals than June and August, but it can be one of the most rewarding months for visitors. The city slows down, the light is long, the fjord becomes a daily stage, and open-air attractions are at their best. This is the month for concerts, football screenings, island-hopping, swimming, cycling, sculpture parks and long evenings outside.
