Fram Museum
One of Oslo’s true classics. The FRAM Museum tells the story of Norway’s polar expeditions and its central attraction is the original polar ship Fram, the strongest wooden polar vessel ever built. Visitors can board the ship and explore the preserved interior, while the exhibitions explain the expeditions of Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen. The museum also includes material on Gjøa, the first ship to navigate the Northwest Passage.

Open daily all year: 10:00–17:00 from 1 October to 30 April, and 09:30–18:00 from 1 May to 30
