THE MEDIEVAL PARK AND WATER MIRROR

Middelalderparken preserves ruins from medieval Oslo in a reconstructed landscape near the original shoreline. The remains of St Clement's Church, St Mary's Church and the royal estate sit near water and railway infrastructure, making the site a vivid collision of historical periods. The park is undergoing long-term change as transport projects and urban development reconnect it with the rest of Gamlebyen; paths may therefore shift.
