Outside, at Inger Munch’s Pier, pause at Tracey Emin’s monumental sculpture The Mother. The nine-metre sculpture was unveiled in 2022 and carries strong emotional resonance beside the museum, especially given the role of loss, motherhood, and memory in Edvard Munch’s life and art.
